The Time has Arrived

Well, Glasper Experiment got RAVE reviews at The Bohemian Caverns.  A sold-out crowd as well. The Washington Post also raved about the show, Thanks to a patron for sending the link to me.

This show promises to be quite something.  I don't think I even know how important this show will be.

At the end of the day, it is really cool that he would consider coming to a small venue like B Sharp's.  I hope he enjoys his time with us.

Club Owner "Blues"

Why did we have to open this club in the midst of the biggest recession since 1930? That is the question I keep asking myself; But the answer is evident: the music survives in spite of it all; And, at the end of the day, don't we need something to sustain us. Music can do that for you,you know. Try it. I think you'd agree with me.

Boomers: Still RockIn the World's Conscience

OK, where are all my Boomers? And, what ch'all
Up to? How you reinventing yourselves?
Did you pull out your parents' depression
Recipes? How about posting them here
For the Gen X who Only know how to
Order from what looks like a Drive-in
Speaker. Cook? What? Maybe "Mac Cook, but
Rattle the pots? I don't think so.

Anyway, Boomers where you at?
Hit me back! LOL... Ain't this Fun?

A big Weekend Ahead

Getting ready for a big weekend of music.  It is always a mystery about how many folks will show up. But Not this time.  We have a party of 31 Woo Hoo!  It is always fun to have a group in cause they know how to have a great time.  Especially this group of really cool folks. So it's Gumbo time and after a great talk with MS. L M, she knows who she is, I have been able to confirm some ideas.  Isn't great to have someone to bounce ideas off of and to have them share their insights with you.  I am so thankful to have had that conversation today.

So Let's bring on the Weekend and the adventure that lies ahead.  I am ready for a "good run for my money."

Isn't it funny how the music is the least of my worries?  the music is ALWAYS tight!  Thanks to some great musicians.  I hope they are having half as much fun as I am,  WOO HOO!

It never fails! But it is ALL Good!

After 29+ years,stuff happens everytime
Clar leaves town. At the club, two
Very high shelves fell down in
The kitchen. Glass shards, clay
Pots, slOw cooker. All kind of stuf
On the floor. So when did that happen?
In the middle of the night? In the
Past I would have gotten really
Upset. But now, I am thankful
We were not open; no one was hurt.
And OMG my French glasses, which
Were right underneath escaped
Altogether. Wow! Is that a miracle
Or what. Not one glass broke.
Pretty cool. A very good sign indeed!
